MGM launches movies on India cable television
'Quantum of Solace'
Could this be the biggest Bond movie in History Yet?
"We are very excited about rolling out in India in a big way. This is a key milestone," Bruce Tuchman, executive vice president, told reporters in Mumbai. "MGM has an opportunity to accelerate our channel's reach to audiences in a booming market."
I find it fascinating how the top cable television is in China and India along with the United State. It’s amazing how even though society assumes that the United States would be the top seller in film making, there really is a competition that is hidden. ‘Quantum of Solace’ is going to be shown in three different languages.
Shown in the U.K. on Oct. 31....
I also found this website interesting how it shows when this film will be available in each country. If you look towards the right of the page, it shows that Japan wont have this film until January of 2009. What I don't really understand is who and what makes the difference of what is available and when. How does it take a year for a movie to be broadcasted?
